Purpose

Entertainment content ranking and trending signal research project from April 2026. Tracks trending signals across entertainment categories for potential integration with the Brook commander's content-curation and ranking workflows.

• projects/2026-04-entertainment-ranking/trending-signals.jsonl — raw trending signal data (JSONL format). Preserved in place per non_md_assets_keep_in_place directive.

The JSONL file contains raw signal records and is not a narrative document. It is archived in its source folder and should be migrated to memory/archive/2026-04/ or a Brook-owned data store when the entertainment ranking pipeline is built out.

Next Steps

• Decide pipeline owner: Brook (content surface) vs Trunks (data ingestion)

• Archive trending-signals.jsonl to memory/archive/2026-04/ or a Brook data folder when ownership is resolved

• Emit a task if the entertainment ranking feature becomes active scope again
